Immigration Counsel From Someone Who Made the Crossing Himself
Every immigration website says "we understand your journey." Here is what that sentence means at this firm:
Danny Grace was born in Limerick, Ireland. He earned his law degree at the University of Limerick, crossed the Atlantic, sat for the New York bar exam in a legal system that wasn't the one he trained in, was admitted in 2011, and built this firm from nothing in a city that doesn't hand out second chances for missed paperwork.
The visa stamps, the filing fees, the waiting, the peculiar feeling of your whole future sitting inside a government envelope — he hasn't read about it. He's lived it.
That is the foundation of this practice: immigration law explained by someone who has stood on both sides of the counter.
What We Handle
Immigration is federal law, which means we represent clients nationwide — though our home base is Lower Manhattan, two blocks from 26 Federal Plaza.
- Employment-based visas. Work authorization for professionals, specialty workers, executives, and people of extraordinary ability — and counsel to the U.S. employers sponsoring them. We prepare the petitions, the Labor Condition Applications, and the supporting record that gets cases approved the first time.
- PERM labor certification and employment-based green cards. The multi-stage path from sponsored worker to permanent resident — recruitment, prevailing wage, filing, and adjustment — managed with the precision a process this unforgiving demands.
- Family-based green cards. Petitions for spouses, parents, children, and siblings; adjustment of status; consular processing; and the honest strategy conversation about which route fits your family's facts.
- Investor and entrepreneur pathways. For founders building businesses in the United States — including treaty-based options — coordinated with our business formation practice so the company and the visa are built to support each other.
- Naturalization. The last step of the journey: citizenship applications, eligibility review, and preparation for the interview and exam.
- Ireland to New York. A signature practice within the practice. From graduate visas to long-term paths for Irish professionals, founders, and families, we know this particular crossing in unusual detail — because it's the one our founder made. Meet Danny Grace.
- One honest boundary: our immigration practice is visas, green cards, and citizenship. We do not handle deportation or removal defense, and we'll refer you responsibly if that's what you need. We'd rather tell you plainly than be one more firm that claims everything.

Immigration Never Travels Alone
Here is what a decade of this work teaches: an immigration case is almost never only an immigration case.
The H-1B worker is also signing a New York apartment lease. The E-2 investor is also forming an LLC, negotiating a commercial lease, and hiring staff. The sponsored chef works in a restaurant with a liquor license and a wage-and-hour compliance question. The green-card holder's parents are thinking about what happens to the family home in two countries.
Most immigration boutiques stop at the visa. Because Danny Grace PLLC also practices business law, real estate, employment law, and estate planning, we handle the situation, not just the form.
One firm. Both sides of every border you're crossing — geographic, legal, and professional.
Our Immigration Services

Verifiable, Not Vague
We think authority in this field should be checkable. So check ours:
- Lived experience: Danny Grace — Limerick-born, University of Limerick School of Law, admitted to the New York bar in 2011 (Reg. No. 4977021, publicly searchable), founder of Danny Grace PLLC in 2012.
- A track record in the public record: Federal disclosure data shows 58 Labor Condition Applications and 6 PERM labor certifications filed by this firm over the past three years — every one approved or certified. Not a marketing claim; a government database entry.
- Recognition: Selected to Super Lawyers each year from 2022 through 2026.
- Federal bench strength: Associate Yuting Li — Chicago-Kent College of Law, admitted in Illinois and New York — anchors the labor-certification and federal statutory side of the practice, and represents the immigrant-attorney tradition of this firm in its second generation.
- Location that matters: 225 Broadway, two blocks from the federal courts and 26 Federal Plaza, where New York's immigration business actually gets done.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do you only work with clients in New York?
No. Immigration is federal, and we represent employers, workers, and families across the country. New York is home; the practice is nationwide.
Do you handle deportation or removal cases?
No — and we say so up front. Our practice is affirmative immigration: work visas, green cards, investor pathways, and citizenship. If you're facing removal proceedings, we'll point you to counsel who does that work every day.
How long does a green card take?
It ranges from under a year to several years depending on the category, your country of birth, and government backlogs. What we can control is filing a complete, well-documented case that doesn't add avoidable delay — and giving you a realistic timeline at the start.
Can my employer sponsor me — and what does that involve for them?
Usually yes, if the role and credentials fit a visa category. Sponsorship involves government filings, fees, and in green-card cases a formal recruitment process. We routinely represent the employer and explain the worker's side clearly, so both parties know the road.
I'm a founder. Can I get a visa through my own company?
Often, yes — through investor treaties, intracompany transfer, or extraordinary-ability routes depending on your nationality, capital, and business. This is a strategy question before it's a forms question, and it's one of our favorite conversations to have.
What's the difference between an LCA and PERM?
An LCA is the wage-and-conditions attestation behind visas like the H-1B. PERM is the full labor-market test behind most employment-based green cards. Different processes, different stakes — we handle both, with an approval record you can look up.
My case was denied before. Can you fix it?
Frequently a denial reflects a fixable record problem — missing evidence, a wrong category, a deadline. Bring the full history; we'll give you a straight answer about whether refiling, appealing, or changing strategy makes sense.
Do you help with the citizenship test and interview?
Yes — eligibility review, the N-400 application, document preparation, and interview coaching. Watching a client take the oath never stops being the best day in this practice.
Why does an Irish law degree matter to my case if I'm not Irish?
Because it means your attorney personally navigated the U.S. immigration system as an outsider — the forms, the waiting, the stakes. That experience translates to every nationality we serve. The system feels different when your lawyer has been inside it.
What do your immigration services cost?
Most matters are flat-fee, quoted before we begin, with government filing fees itemized separately. You'll know the full number up front — nobody should immigrate on a meter.
